I grew up in a small village in the heartland of America. I was raised Catholic, and embraced Islaam in my early twenties, as a single mom attending college. I graduated with degrees in both English and Theatre Arts, married, and then moved all over the country, finally making the transition to Yemen with my family, where I lived for about a decade. I am a homemaker, I love sewing, crocheting, and cooking. I am an herbalist and gardener, and I teach my children at home. I am a writer, speaker, teacher, translator, and student. I look forward to sharing my Yemeni journey with you.
